    学生考研有以下几种情况：出于继续深造的目的;缓解就业压力;为了亲情、爱情;为了逃避“现实责任”等，但是无论是属于上述何种情况，大家都会考虑到读研值不值得这个问题，即：读研的费用(包括学费等有形货币的花销和青春这种无形损耗)和毕业后所得是否成正比。毕业后所得主要是指几年的研究生生活过后是否能找到一份理想的工作。社会是不断发展变化的，将来的事是难以预料的，所以我们所能做的就是在当前尽可能减少读研的费用。那么，如何才能减少读研的费用呢?
    
    要想减少读研的费用，在考研选择院校的时候以下两个因素是必须要考量的：
    
    第一：研究生的学制。不言而喻上学的时间短，学费相应就减少。硕士生的学制根据学校的不同而有所差别，多数为3年，也有两年半的。研究生的学习和本科阶段一样，实行学分制。课程的设置包括必修和选修，一般来讲，前两年是基础课和专业课的学习，通常可以修完绝大部分的学分;第三年用来完成毕业论文、实习和求职。许多学校都规定，能提前完成学校规定的学分的学生在符合一定的条件下就可以提前毕业。如果努力能提前毕业是最好不过的了，一、减少金钱损耗;二、较同龄人提早进入社会，提前积累经验，就会有较强的竞争力。
    
    第二：奖助金制度的实施。研究生培养机制*取消了原来的“公费”、“自费”的区分，取而代之的是奖助金制度。*之前，一个新入学的硕士研究生是享受“公费”还是“自费”的待遇，完全由入学时的成绩评定。而且，“公费生”和“自费生”的区分一旦确定，在入学之后就再也没有改变的可能性。不管你读研之时多么优秀，也不管你读研之时成绩多么拔尖，你都没有可能再享受到“公费”的待遇。
    
    实行奖助金制度以后，研究生第一年入学时的奖助金等级由入学成绩决定。推荐免试的同学基本上都能获得高于学费的奖助金，参加研究生入学考试的成绩优秀者，也能获得高于学费的奖助金。其他的同学则能获得相应的较低等级的奖助金或者需要自己筹集学费。但是，第一年评定的奖助金等级并不会适用于第二年。第二年，学校会根据研究生的在校表现重新评定奖助金等级，也是说奖助金评定实行的是动态的管理模式，即：第二年的奖助金评定在学习成绩之外会引入其他因素，比如科研成果、发表论文、社会活动等等。
    
    奖助金数量的规定各个学校是有差异的，大家在选择院校的时候在网上可以搜索到相关的信息。奖助金制度的实施，在一定程度上更能充分调动大家的积极性，主动性和创造性。只要大家充分发挥主观能动性，充分展示自己的潜能，我们就能获得更多的奖励，使研究生生活相对安逸。
